More than a Book Launch

I am excited for the launch of Tea at the Empress on September 14 at 6:30 pm at the gorgeous new Gorge Pavilion in Esquimalt Gorge Park. I hope you are too. But if you can't make it in person, it will also be on Zoom. Please let me know if you'd like to attend in that manner and I'll be happy to send you the link.

As an added bonus for the launch, two other Victoria writers published by Three Ocean Press will be reading. They are Torston Schoeneborg, author of Brenda Craigdarroch Doesn't Want You to Read This Book, a book of poetry, and Brad Yung, author of Lessons I'm Going to Teach my Kids Too Late, a book of essays. Both of these books are humorous, so you'll be treated to some levity after my serious novel. Not that Tea at the Empress is without humour. The heroine Edith has a dry wit that emerges from time to time.

The agenda for the evening will be as follows:

6:00 -- Doors open (come early, have tea and maybe purchase a book)

6:30 -- The launch of Tea at the Empress

7:15 -- Book signing

7:30 -- Readings from all three authors of Three Ocean Press

8:15 -- Selling and signing more books, we hope!
