Yesterday, I had a joyful beginning to the day and to the week. I received an e-mail from a literary review called Existere saying they were going to publish my poem “Shipwrecks” in their magazine. Existere is a publication of York University in Toronto.
One thing that makes good news even better is being able to share it. So, when I went to Facebook and discovered that my good friend and fellow poet Zoe Dickinson had also received such an e-mail, I was even more thrilled. Her poem “Afternoons” will be in their next edition.
That makes two Victoria poets! It’ll be an edition worth buying.
